Typo3 Enterprise CMS

Published under a GNU licence, Typo3 is well designed and documented. It’s extremely stable and versatile, allowing web masters to implement advanced solutions, previously only available to larger governmental or corporate bodies.

Additional modules - Extend your site

The system can be extended at any time by adding modules from Typo3’s extension repository. More than 600 modules are listed and additional modules get added daily. The list includes standard modules such as news listing and archiving, events calendar, indexed search within PDF and Word files, e-commerce, email newsletter facility, forum or guestbook.

Larger solutions might require Typo3's versioning and workflow system, staging server synchronization, multi-language capability or connection to other databases such as LDAP servers for authentication of access to your intranet.

Templates on various levels

Pre-built content elements such as "Text with Image to the right" or "Contact Form" are one of Typo3's innovative tools to tackle the complexity of HTML

Typo3’s innovative multi-level templating system helps users to prevent problems typically caused by corrupt or incomplete HTML code.  It provides templates on various levels:

  • page templates
  • main content area templates
  • content element templates
  • image positioning templates

Editors get to choose not only from full-page templates, but also from various templates for the main section of a page, giving you access to up to 4 columns. Furthermore editors can choose between a vast list of in-built content elements (see image to the left). Even for the positioning of an image within a text block you can rely on pre-coded models.

WYSIWYG editing - An easy way to edit a page

Typo3's inbuilt WYSIWYG editor is based on HTMLarea and runs on all platforms: Windows, OS X and Linux.

However, for some users it might be easier to simply use the WYSIWYG editor with its comprehensive list of features including automated image resizing, search-replace, HTML cleaner or spell check.

Go SEO, XML, WAP or PDA

All content in a Typo3 site can be published to various formats such as XML, text, PDF, WAP, RSS, Froogle or others. You can use the same content but render it to your needs. We can use any technology available, including Flash, search engine optimisation or screen readers.

Three clicks – new design

In a year or two you might consider a redesign of your site, in which case you can activate the new design theme with only a few clicks – site wide.
